The Porsche 964 is the third generation Porsche 911 and followed the Porsche 911 G-Model. Between 1989 and 1994, the Porsche 964 was sold as a Coupe, Cabriolet, Targa and Speedster. As the first 911, the Porsche 964 was also available with all-wheel drive and had anti-lock-brakes as standard. A six-cylinder boxer engine is used in every Porsche 964. The engines in the Porsche 964 had displacements between 3.3 and 3.8 liters and produced 250 to 380 hp. Porsche produced a total of 63,762 Type 964 vehicles.
