2017 The Porsche 991 is the seventh generation of the 911. Porsche built the 991 between 2011 and 2019 and it was available in Coupe, Cabriolet, Targa and Speedster body styles. The Porsche 991’s engines ranged from 3.0 to 4.0 liters with 350 to 700 horsepower. For the 2016 model year facelift, Porsche also used turbocharged engines in the Carrera models for the first time in the history of the 911. 233,540 units of the Porsche 991 were built.
