Porsche 968
The Porsche 968 is the fourth and last Porsche model of the so-called transaxle-era, as it had its engine up front and the gearbox in the back, connected via a transaxle shaft. It was the direct successor to the Porsche 944. Just under 12,000 Porsche 968s were produced between 1991 and 1995. The Porsche 968 was available as a coupe and convertible. Its water-cooled 3.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine produced 240 to 350 horsepower. The Porsche 968 Turbo S is also the rarest Porsche model built in series.
