Porsche 356
The Porsche 356 is the first sports car put into production by Porsche. Designed on the basis of the Volkswagen Beetle, the Porsche 356 had a four-cylinder boxer engine in the rear and rear-wheel drive. It was produced from 1948 to April 1965 in the generations Porsche 356 pre-A, 356A, 356B and 356C. A total of 76,302 vehicles were produced of the Porsche 356. The engine range of the Porsche 356 extended from the 1.1 liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 40 hp to the 2.0 liter four-cylinder boxer engine with bevels and 130 hp. The Porsche 356 was available as a coupe, convertible and speedster.
