Although 2024 was not an easy year for the automotive industry, Elferspot continued to record significant growth. The leading online marketplace for classic and used Porsche sports cars not only set new records in 2024, but further cemented its place in the hearts of Porsche enthusiasts around the world. With a growing community, increased sales figures and an outstanding offer, Elferspot proves that innovation and quality can set the tone even in challenging markets.
The online marketplace Elferspot, which focuses on classic and used Porsche sports cars, recorded exceptional growth in 2024 and impressively confirmed its position as the leading platform in this segment. With an 18% increase in the number of vehicles on offer compared to the previous year, Elferspot not only attracted more buyers and sellers, but also achieved a record level of demand. The growth in views on listings was 37% and a plus of 50 per cent for inquiries shows that the market for Porsche enthusiasts on the platform remains strong.
“Our success is based on the close connection to our target group. We understand what Porsche enthusiasts want and offer them exactly that: a high-quality, specialized offering and a strong community.”
Markus Klimesch, Elferspot founder
More than 2,000 cars with a total value of over 260 million euros found a new garage via Elferspot in 2024 – a new record in the company’s history. The platform generated almost two thirds more sales leads compared to 2023. This is due to the dealer network, which has also grown by a significant amount, and the larger user base.
More than 450 dealers from all over the world now advertise classic and used Porsche sports cars on Elferspot. This corresponds to an increase of 17 percent compared to the previous year. The growth in private listings was even stronger. In 2024, 43 percent more vehicles from private sellers were listed for sale on Elferspot. At the same time, the significantly larger range of vehicles met with a 27% larger base of registered users.
“The results from 2024 confirm that our platform has its finger on the pulse of Porsche enthusiasts worldwide”
Markus Klimesch, Elferspot founder
Elferspot founder Klimesch is rightly proud of the developments: “The results from 2024 confirm that our platform has its finger on the pulse of Porsche enthusiasts worldwide”. However, he believes that this is by no means the end of the platform’s development. “Our goal is to remain the first port of call for buyers and sellers of Porsche vehicles and to continuously expand our offering,” says Klimesch.
Elferspot was founded in 2017 by Markus Klimesch as the first marketplace exclusively for classic and used Porsche sports cars, based in Linz. With a clear focus on quality, user orientation and a strong presence on social networks, Elferspot has established a firm position in the global Porsche scene. In total, the platform has 600,000 followers and will broker vehicles worth 260 million euros in 2024. The journey is far from over. Elferspot is on the threshold of new markets and exciting developments that will allow the company to continue to grow.
