Where it All Began
Scan Automotive was founded in North Vancouver by Swedish-Canadian brothers Andy and Chris Haglund, who derived the company name from their proud Scandinavian heritage. Andy was a Porsche / VW / Audi dealership technician looking to establish something better than what customers were receiving in the dealership environment. Chris was a devout Volvo and VW enthusiast and the two put their vision into practice in its original location on East Esplanade Avenue.
