1977, Royal Automobile… Origins…
Passionate about automobiles, I fell in love with everything related to mechanics from a very young age.
When I wasn't at school, I spent most of my time admiring the Jaguars, Aston Martins, Maseratis… and the Riva drifters from the Royal Automobile garage, founded in 1977 by my father Jean-Paul Guillet.
Dreaming of being able to get behind the wheel of these legendary cars, I always hoped to work there later.
The mental escape that the sound of the engines gives me, the sensations that I feel when I am aboard one of these cars remains an unparalleled pleasure! It was therefore obvious to me that automobiles would one day be my main sector of activity, combining work and passion.
While keeping this same and ultimate conviction, I took another path for a while.
Current March 2009 Royal Automobile was ravaged by flames, taking with them all my dreams. Despite the intervention of 80 firefighters, the entire building was devastated as well as more than 40 exceptional cars.
A few years later Royal Automobile was sold to the Avanti Motors group.
In 2013, I decided to leave Pays de la Loire to join my father who has since settled in Paris.
2015, Paris Motors Legend… A logical continuation.
When I arrived, I was lucky enough to be able to benefit from part of the network he had built over the years. This helped me a lot, difficult at the time without cash and my young experience of recovering level cars for sale.
This resulted in a first business, a second… Then I created Paris Motors Legend in 2015.
Good relationships with our customers are important to me. For me, this is a side of business that is priceless. With Paris Motors Legend, you only have one contact from first contact to delivery.
A mechanic by trade, my father gave me a taste for manual work very early on, I like to do everything possible and achievable myself.
I launched in 2021, Ouest Motors Legend located in Normandy, a specialized workshop where we restore Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Maserati and other major brands that have marked the history of the automobile.
It is therefore with passion and pride that we perpetuate a family history, which began more than 45 years ago.
Valère Guillet.
