The trackday for classic Porsche 911 – 4367 Tribute

The trackday for classic Porsche 911 – 4367 Tribute

Drivers of classic Porsches, cup cars and old racing cars know the problem: it’s not exactly pleasant to share a racetrack with modern hot hatches and super sports cars. Jonas Nilsson has therefore launched the 4367 Tribute event. Here you can enjoy your 964, 993, your 996/997 GT or 911 Cup cars and other racing models to the full. You will only be among like-minded Porsche enthusiasts who can properly assess the value of your car. After all, they have a comparable car themselves. And the format that the organizers have come up with guarantees a warm, friendly atmosphere on and off the track. After the Nordschleife was reserved exclusively for participants in 2024, the event will now take place at Germany’s most modern drive resort at Bilster Berg.

4367 Tribute isn’t your regular trackday, it’s a multiple-day event to grow a community and explore the race track together!

4367 Tribute’s name comes from 964, 993, 996 and 997-generation Porsche 911s. Because those are the only model series allowed to take part in the event. No matter if you’re in an RS, a Cup car of the first three generations or other race versions. This already hints at one of the event’s unique approaches. Jonas Nilsson identified that on a regular trackday, where everything is much about speed and laptimes, there’s often a lack of respect for the older and (mostly) way more valuable cars.

That’s why the 4367 Tribute team is paying tribute to perhaps the most captivating 911s of all time. Two days on one of the most varied modern tracks in the world are on the program. Always with great but respectful action on the track, always with like-minded people. You’ll gain experience together in a safe environment. Just right for anyone who has not yet dared to tackle the infamous mousetrap on Bilster Berg. The 4367 Tribute focuses on passion and dedication for the shared experience of the racetrack. The team is looking forward to inviting both the trackday and racing communities to foster our shared love and enthusiasm for the Porsche 911.

At the 4367 Tribute, many participants are owners that drive their 911s at many different trackdays. But our event also welcomes owners that don’t feel like driving their special 911s at any mixed trackdays and have high expectations on a very safe and orderly code of conduct on track and limited number of cars.

To ensure this friendly atmosphere, 4367 Tribute relies on a tried and tested concept in the form of a 1+2 day event at the Bilster Berg Drive Resort. All participants have the opportunity to come together one day in advance. This means that no one will attend the event as a stranger. Instead, the program is designed to make it easy for all participants to get in touch with each other. It doesn’t matter whether you are attending for the first time, coming with friends or are already part of the community. Spending time together, on and off the course, enjoying the atmosphere and being inspired – that’s what it’s all about!

Action galore at Bilster Berg from Friday to Sunday

It all starts with the (optional) arrival day on Friday. Registration opens from 2 pm to 5 pm and you can unload your car in the paddock at your leisure. The Bilster Berg Drive Resort is guarded and your car can be safely parked there from Friday to Sunday. Afterwards, there will be enough time for check-in and the optional dinner at the hotel. If you like, you can walk around the track to get a first impression.

Those arriving on Saturday can register between 7 and 10 am and get to know the other participants over a coffee. The obligatory drivers’ briefing starts at 8:30 am. Once all questions have been clarified, the action on the track starts at 9 am. You can use the track until 5 pm, interrupted only by lunch between 12 and 1 pm. Enough time to get into the rhythm and perhaps work a little on the setup of your car. You will first be divided into groups before continuing in the afternoon in the so-called open pitlane format.

But there are also plenty of activities off the racetrack during the day. Jonas Nilsson and his team offer guided sports car tours along the most beautiful roads around the Drive Resort. This is the ideal opportunity for some great driving experiences, especially for those with a hangaround ticket who want to get a taste of the race track but don’t want to take to the track themselves. From 4:30 pm, the almost traditional after-drive beers will be served in the Clubhouse and at around 6:30 pm the Grillabend dinner will start. A shuttle bus to the hotel will be ready at around 10 pm.

From ball head to bat mound and ammunition field to mousetrap – Day 3 also offers plenty of driving time

Sunday is an early start. The shuttle bus picks you up at the hotel at 07:45 and takes you back to the pit lane. After the drivers’ meeting at 08:30, you can work on the perfect line through the difficult corner combinations on the second driving day between 9 am and 5 pm. But beware, in addition to the legendary Mausefalle (mouse trap), a steeply banked left-hand bend, the Clubhouse-S can also be very tricky! The lunch break on the Ostschleifenterrasse offers you one last opportunity to discuss the Bilster Berg challenge before the event draws to a close with the final laps at 5 pm.

To enjoy a cool mix of 911s and owners, there will be two groups within 4367 Tribute’s Bilster Berg event

At the event’s core is a passion for 911s truly driven on track. Secondly, there’s the ambition to enjoy a cool mix of 911s and owners. That is not an easy task though, as tickets are very limited. To tackle this, 4367 Tribute splits its participants into two main categories, called Core and Special. The Core category is for the more serious cars, like trackday & race cars on Ultra-High-Performance (UHP) or slick tires. If you drive a sporty customized/modified Porsche 964 or 993, or a special model like a Singer, Gunter Werks, RUF, etc. then you’ll find the perfect spot in the Special group.

Core-Category

  • All 996 and 997 Turbo & GT models
  • Any modified 964 and 993
  • RS cars from 964 to 997 GT3 RS 4.0

Cup & race cars

  • Cup, N/GT, RSR, R & race cars on slicks (except 997)

Special-Category

Road cars

  • Sporty customized, enhanced or modified 964 and 993s (Carrera 2, Carrera 4 and Turbo models)
  • Special models like Singer, Gunter Werks, Ninemeister, RUF etc.
  • Limited edition models – 40 Jahre, Speedster etc.

Porsche 911 Cup car owners, who don’t race, can experience their cars on slicks in safe and private setting together with likeminded as well. And of course, the racing drivers, who actually drive their race cars are welcome to join and inspire us all on how our cars could be driven!

Jonas Nilsson, 4367 Tribute founder

These two car categories will be divided into two different driving groups. Driving Group 1 is aimed to inspired and committed drivers with a good degree of experience on track. They are able to handle overtaking maneuvers at speed at any section of the track. This also includes experience in being overtaken without delay in the very best way. The second Driving Group is labeled “cruising & touring”. Its main intention is to focus on the driving experience with a patience that makes everyone feel relaxed at the track. Overtaking is done the best way, but not in a hurry here. As the day progresses the the track will be open in a open pitlane format.

Everything will be taken care of – even on the mechanical side of things

As soon as you arrive, all you have to think about is having fun. 4367 Tribute has arranged everything. Technical support is also provided if the worst comes to the worst. Jonas Nilsson and his crew have also made a number of reservations at neighboring hotels. So if necessary, you can secure a room when you buy your tickets.

Pre-registration for tickets is now open. The price for the Driver & 911 Ticket for the 1+2-day event of 4367 Tribute is €1,299 (incl. VAT). Another option is the Buddy Ticket. Here, two friends, each with their own 911, share the two driving days. Each can drive a full day for €799 per person. In addition to driving time on the track, the tickets also include drinks, food, merchandise and, of course, the matching stickers! If you just want to get a taste of the racetrack but don’t want to drive, the Hangaround Ticket for 99€ is the right offer for you. All information can be found in the 4367 Tribute Webshop.

You don’t need a reason to join – but here’s a few
