Sportec & Alpineracer Porsche Rally to Italy
Off we go to the south! From October 8-12, 2025, the Swiss Porsche and event specialists from Sportec near Zurich are bringing summer back for five days. Come along on a journey through the most beautiful regions of Italy on winding roads, in the most beautiful hotels and among good-humored friends. That’s the big goal of this year’s rally! This last Sportec Porsche rally of the year is exclusive and limited to a small number of participants. It is the highlight of the season for the Swiss. Together with Alpineracer, Sportec is organizing an end-of-year rally in Italy for the second time.
Sportec events have a bit of a tradtion – special experiences for everybody are the main goal
Real Porsche dreams are created in Höri, Switzerland. There, Sportec offers everything the Porsche heart desires. Service, specially developed performance parts, immediately available cars or even customized Porsche Backdates like the Ferdinand and the lightweight SUB1000. But the perfectionists also offer the right events for Porsche drivers. And they always know how to surprise their fans.
Sportec is thus cultivating its Porsche community and would like to offer enthusiasts a platform to explore the most beautiful regions together. To offer its customers a further treat, Sportec is once again cooperating with the Swiss production company Alpineracer for the Italy Rally. The content creators will provide you with priceless memories of the entire event. Their photos and videos will certainly be something you will look back on several times after the tour and proudly show your friends!
Crossing impressive mountain passes and drive along idyllic country roads in small groups
At Sportec’s Rally to Italy, a small group of Porsche enthusiasts meet up with their sports cars. All generations of 911, Cayman and Boxster are eligible to take part. The Alpineracer and Sportec crew will take care of route planning, hotels, restaurants, content and mechanical support in case anything goes wrong. A total of 12 cars are allowed to take part. The tour starts in Zurich and leads over impressive mountain passes, idyllic country roads and long, cypress-lined avenues.

Day 1 – Start at RARE Street Coffee, drive to Lago di Garda
The meeting point for the highlight of the season is the RARE Street Coffee in Rapperswil. From there, you will drive along Alpine passes and breathtaking country roads towards Lake Garda. Of course, targeted breaks are planned so that you can enjoy not only your Porsches but also the scenery to the full.

Your day’s destination is the unique 5-star luxury boutique hotel Eden Reserve. The hotel, designed by architect and designer Matteo Thun, is also home to excellent cuisine. It is therefore the ideal place to end the evening with several courses. In keeping with the tradition of upscale Italian trattorias, the chefs here create outstanding dishes and menus for you using regional ingredients.

Day 2 – Lago di Garda – Toscana
Off to Tuscany! To the region of cypresses, pines and vines. After breakfast at the boutique hotel Eden Reserve, you continue south today. Between Florence and Livorno, you check into the Hotel La Monastica. It is one of the best hotels in Italy, is located in the heart of Tuscany and offers a breathtaking view of the Valdinievole Valley.
The 16th century monastery of Santa Scolastica, once a treasure trove of beautiful frescoes and stained glass on a hill in Tuscany, has been rebuilt and abandoned several times throughout its history. After years of careful restoration, involving a team of historians, architects and art experts, the monastery was reopened in 2024 as La Monastica Resort & Spa.
Day 3 – Relaxation in Tuscany
Day number three is for relaxation and an alternative daily program. After breakfast at Hotel La Monastica, you can plan your day as you wish. Whether it’s a beach trip to the Tyrrhenian Sea, a spa in the hotel complex (early booking required!) or a trip to the next village – you are free to choose. And if you can’t get enough of driving, you can of course explore the region’s picturesque roads a bit more!
Participation in the “Cocktail Class for Negroni and Spritz” is also voluntary. In the one-hour course, you will learn how to prepare the classic drinks from the regions visited in Italy. You will enjoy the local specialties from Tuscany and Veneto. This means you will learn how to make a real Florentine Negroni or an original Spritz from Padua.
Dinner at La Monastica is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the Sportec Italy Rally. Weather permitting, you can enjoy your dinner outside. In addition to the hopefully clear starry sky, you can also enjoy the magnificent food and the view of the automotive gems!

Day 4 – The two most beautiful regions of Italy: Tuscany & Piedmont
Your return journey towards Switzerland takes you through what are probably the two most beautiful regions in Italy: Tuscany and Piedmont. Here you will really get your money’s worth, especially in terms of driving, before checking into the last hotel of the tour. The Hotel Almaranto is a good hour’s drive south-east of Turin and offers an exciting mix of classic architecture and modern elements. The location leaves absolutely nothing to be desired! Incidentally, truffle fans can even make an individual detour to the first days of the ALBA WHITE TRUFFLE FAIR (October 11 to December 8).

Day 5 – Journey home from Piedmont to the St. Gotthard Hospice
After a balanced breakfast at the Hotel Almaranto, the return journey to Switzerland starts at around 10 am. The last common destination of the Sportec & Alpineracer Porsche Rally to Italy is the St. Gotthard Hospice at the summit of the Gotthard Pass on Lago della Piazza. Here you will have one last opportunity to exchange contact details with your new friends, process what you have experienced and, after a coffee together, make your way home.

Over all five days Sportec & Alpineracer Porsche Rally leaves nothing to be desired
The Swiss event professionals are preparing a total of five driving days with four overnight stays – in the best hotels, of course. The package includes breakfast and dinner, goodie bags and photo shoots by the Alpineracer team. Even minor repairs along the way are no problem. Backed by Sportec’s support truck, you have peace of mind and can experience the trip worry-free. Hotels and supporting programs are organized. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the trip.
