Petrolhead Thursdays at Circuit Zolder

Then the Petrolhead Thursdays at Circuit Zolder in Belgium are the right place for you to improve your driving skills and meet likeminded people, while enjoying engine sounds without any noise limits!

The Petrolhead Thursdays offer driving in small groups and a fantastic soundtrack

At Circuit Zolder, you will experience a day among like-minded people at the Petrolhead Thursdays. Whether professional or beginner, all participants are united by their love of sports cars. If required, the professional Petrolhead instructors will support you in your search for the ideal line and in pursuit of better lap times.

Neither previous experience nor racing licenses are required. You will be divided into one of three groups, according to your experience. These small groups give you the maximum experience on the track, without any stress or too much traffic. The day is accompanied by the soundtrack of the greatest combustion engines the sports car world has to offer. At Circuit Zolder, by the way, there are no noise restrictions!

Fitting groups for beginners, advanced and experienced trackday enthusiasts

At the Petrolhead Thursdays, you will drive a total of five 20-minute stints. All newcomers and less experienced drivers are picked up in the Warm-Up Basic group. The instructors will show you all the basics you need for safe fun on the racetrack: Eye tracking, braking and steering techniques through to driving completely without electronic driver aids. In small groups with a maximum of three vehicles behind one instructor, you will drive according to the “lead & follow” principle. You will receive tips and support from your instructor throughout the day.

In the Warm-Up Advanced group, you start with three sessions behind the instructor. However, the focus here is directly on refining riding techniques and safe overtaking on the track. You will drive the last two stints without an instructor. This group is particularly suitable for those who already have experience but are still transitioning to the sports group. This sport group is for those who no longer need any instruction on track. Here you can enjoy the track on your own during the five 20-minute stints, with a maximum of 25 cars on the track and no noise limits.

Petrolhead Thursday – Dates & Prices

Between 07:30 and 08:40 you can register on site and enjoy a small breakfast. This is followed by a briefing for all drivers before the pit lane opens at 09:00. All groups will complete two 20-minute sessions until lunch between 11:50 and 13:00. From 13:00 to 16:20 you can enjoy the remaining three stints. In the evening, you can review your experiences with your fellow competitors over a Petrolhead cocktail and watch the 40-minute international race training session.
