This 997 GT3 RSR was used by the French team "IMSA Performance" in the 2007 season.
2007 has probably been the most successful year for this team.
Although Raymond Narac drove for Oreca in the GT1 class in the FFSA GT, the team dominated the GT2 class thanks to the duo of Michel Lecourt and Richard Balandras in the new 997 GT3 RSR.
IMSA Performance used two 997 RSR in 2007. One, the RSR piloted by Raymond Narac and Richard Lietz, raced with the team in the Le Mans Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The other car, which is this RSR, was driven mostly in the FFSA GT by Michel Lecourt alongside Richard Balandrais.
The RSR was also used in March 2007 at the FIA GT in Nogaro.
Despite the successful racing history, the vehicle is still equipped with the original engine, which is extremely rare in such racing vehicles.
The scope of delivery includes three new sets of original BBS rims and some other spare parts.
In the recent past (2019/2020) the vehicle was completely revised, a total of approx. €180,000.00 was invested.
All expenses can be documented by invoices. After completion of the work, the RSR was only subjected to a "shake down".
Both the engine and the gearbox have about one hour of operation accordingly.
Furthermore, a racing ABS was retrofitted to the RSR for approx. EUR 15,000, which is not standard on board.
