It is difficult to find a more mythical car than the Porsche 911. Declined in multiple versions, the 911 range allows everyone to find his happiness. However, some of these versions immediately attract young and old alike. This is the case of the 997 GT2 RS, the culmination of the 997 generation. Unveiled in May 2010, it is the most radical 911 of this generation, especially since it is the first time that a GT2 RS variant is presented. It is then the most powerful Porsche 911. Limited to 500 numbered units, this model is 70 kg lighter than the classic 997 GT2, but with no less than 90 extra horsepower.
The result is a rolling bomb with a mechanical gearbox that delivers spectacular performance: 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, weight down to 1,370 kg and a top speed of almost 205 mph. The 3.6L flat 6 twin-turbo engine has a single mass flywheel, reducing its inertia, and the boost pressure is increased. The interior features a racing-derived roll bar, fixed buckets and harnesses. The front hood is in carbon, the front tracks are widened to make room for the sublime 19-inch wheels with central lock.
