While most of these vehicles have been pushed to the limit on the Nürburgring, in Spa or other race tracks and also sometimes on public roads and have been subjected to corresponding strain.
Our vehicle, on the other hand, is practically a "virgin". No race track use, no over-revving, no repainting and very low mileage.
The reason for this is certainly also that the first owner, a lawyer from the Frankfurt / Main area, never intended the 997 GT 2 RS for such purposes and therefore specified and ordered it completely differently to the majority of these vehicles.
The car has the 18-way sports seats and not the racing seats and the roll cage was deliberately omitted as the race track was never an issue.
The car has only been driven 2507 km so far and has had 5 services at Porsche during this time.
A major service with new tires was just carried out in May 2024. (The original tires were kept and are available with the vehicle)
This vehicle is painted in Indian red and the interior is black leather with red Alcantara.
The exterior color is the rarest of the series colors for the 997 GT 2 RS and harmonizes perfectly with the visible carbon fiber parts on the car.
Inside, the black and red combination is certainly not "everyone's cup of tea" but was limited to the limited editions 997 GT 3 RS 4.0 and 997 GT 2 RS and was not ordered that often.
In a few years it will certainly be a rare contemporary witness and extremely sought after.
We know this from the interior colors of the 964 RS like black with magenta or other 964 / 993 that had unusual interior colors like nephrite green, Wimbledon green, sherwood green, chestnut brown or similar tones that today – 20-30 years later – are extremely sought after and have a significantly positive influence on prices.
The history of our vehicle is also fully known and documented.
Both that of the owners and that of the services.

Please do not compare this car with vehicles of the same type that you may have seen recently.
We are talking about a 997 GT 2 RS in true collector's condition, as close to new as possible.
