With the Targa, practicality is pushed as the convenience level is heightened by virtue of a rear glass lid that opens in true hatch fashion revealing a parcel shelf and with the rear seatbacks folded, usability only increases! Stepping inside is where the alluring nature of the Targa becomes even more apparent as the nearly seamless glass roof offers panoramic views and adds a dynamic element to the 911’s lauded driving experience! Elevating the model’s specialness is its scarcity, production of the 997 Targa began in 2006 and concluded in 2012 with about 5,888 units leaving Stuttgart as Targa 4S models with approximately 1,428 Targa 4S examples bearing the 2008 model year designation and a miniscule amount in Paint to Sample Metallic colors.
