This example, painted in classic Carrera white gives clear tendencies of being a car more focused on the journey. The low body sits aggressively over the gorgeous 19″ RS Spyder rims. The front, which largely shares its appearance with the GT3 sister car, has been given a more aggressive lip compared to simpler variations of the 997 and at the rear a simple ‘Carrera GTS’ emblem and at the bottom four pipes marking the factory fitted sports exhaust.
The interior is clearly recognizable from the 997. Here, a focus is simplicity and driving with it as your entertainment. If you want more, the car also supports PCM with wireless connectivity options. Black leather covers most of the interior with exposed stitching over the instrument panel and doors. In addition, the inside gets a wonderful contrast from the red seatbelts. The sports seats proudly bear an embossed Porsche crest in the headrest.
A wonderful Swedish-sold example of one of the best cars Porsche has to offer with fine miles and an equally fine history and in a timeless specification. The 997 stands on a razor-sharp edge between being an almost classic Porsche and a modern sports car, and few variants show driving pleasure better than the Carrera GTS.
