The Porsche 911 Turbo, remains one of the fastest and most desirable examples of the 911 model. Following the 993 model was never going to be easy and perhaps that is why the 996 has never been the most desired but that is slowly changing with the styling starting to come into its own with age and for people seeking their first proper sports car, this is a superb place to start. Until recently, this model could be found in the $40,000 – 50,000 range but now they’re pulling anything from $60k to $100k depending on the car.
The 996 model was sold between 1997 and 2005 with the later model, such as our 2003, known to some as a 996.2 with some improvements and the all important famous Metzger engine. The engine, an M96/70 Type, 3.6 liter flat 6 Turbo produces 415bhp and is complimented by the optioned 6-speed manual or Automatic transmission.
