With the launch of the 996 in 1997, Porsche aimed to move into modernity with a 911 that was accessible to all and met safety standards. The 996 will be sold at 175,262 units over 9 years (compared to 68,029 units over 5 years for the 993).
For the 996 Turbo, the target are for Grand Touring performance, while Sport and track were devolved to the GT3 (1999) and GT2 (2003) versions. With its permanent all-wheel drive and the famous PSM (Porsche Stability Management), it was almost impossible to scare oneself, while previous generations required skill and solid driving ability.
In spite of everything, the flat 6, water-cooled, developed a fairly convincing power output at the time of 420 horsepower for a displacement of 3.6 liters, two turbos and a mind-boggling 560 Nm of torque at 2700 rpm. Enough to provide maximum adrenaline for most drivers.

The car we offer for sale was sold and delivered new at the Porsche PALUMBO center in Naples on 01/23/2003.
Always followed and serviced at the same Porsche Palumbo center, in 2011 the car is exported to France. Strict and documented maintenance followed.
The car is back in Italy, ready for you! ASi-registerable with the various concessions, this 996 Turbo is ready to speed (again) on the roads of the beautiful country
