The vehicle in detail

When the first GT3 was built as the successor to the 993 RS, Porsche couldn't afford a flop, as the years 1999-2000 were very difficult years in Porsche's company history. So, Hans Mezger was commissioned to adapt the legendary racing engine from the GT1 for the first GT3. It was a huge success, as Walter Röhrl's immediate record showed. Never before had a road-going sports car completed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7.56 minutes.

This extremely well-preserved and documented example has never seen the Nordschleife or any other racetrack. Furthermore, it was and still is a pure summer and garage car, and it shows. In August 2021, the underbody and wheel arches were ice-blasted and wax-sealed. A photo documentation of this is included with the history book. The beautiful GT3 is presented in a classic and highly sought-after color combination of jet black solid paint on the exterior and Recaro GT3 sports seats in black leather with embossed Porsche crest.

This beautiful 11 Series is officially a youngtimer at 25 years old, and just under 5 years separate it from classic car status and the H-license plate. A GT3 with this status is unimaginable for most people, but it will soon be.

During the last extensive service in June 2023, the spark plugs, all ignition coils, the radiator including the expansion tank, etc. were replaced, and the transmission oil was changed.

The GT3 drives as well as it looks, is absolutely reliable, and is waiting for its next enthusiast at Automobilgold.

Further detailed photos and shots of the underbody, etc. can be provided upon request. The vehicle can be viewed by appointment and test driven, weather permitting.
A lift is on site, and the DEKRA (German Vehicle Inspection Agency) is in the neighborhood for a test seal.

We look forward to your call.
