The idea taken up here had already been successfully adapted in previous 911 model series – the factory turbo look was built as the all-wheel drive 993 Carrera 4S and the classic 993 Carrera S. Only 3,714 units of the latter and rear-wheel drive variant rolled off the production line. Since the 993 Carrera S was also offered with a Tiptronic transmission compared to the 993 Carrera 4S, many examples were sold abroad. This already significantly limits the availability of a manual vehicle from German delivery. Especially when, in addition to the rarity of this model, it is as exceptional as this example in terms of mileage, special equipment, color combination, history and condition. The first delivery to the first owner took place on December 17, 1997 in the form of a factory delivery in Stuttgart via the Porsche Center Offenburg. Since delivery, the vehicle has been in the hands of only two Porsche enthusiasts. The car remained in the property of the first owner until April 2005, before it was registered to the second and therefore last owner in southern Germany on April 5, 2005. The condition can simply be described as immaculate, which is certainly due to the low mileage of currently only 50,099 kilometers, but also to the uncompromising care of the previous owners. The paintwork on the measurable body parts is completely the same as the original paint. The condition of the body and all add-on parts, as well as the interior and the underbody, are completely true to the original and have almost no noticeable wear and tear. This Porsche 993 Carrera S was equipped with some very desirable extras ex works that were available for money at the time: Particularly noteworthy are the sports seats for the driver and front passenger, as well as the special sports suspension in combination with the 18″ technology wheels (so-called Turbo hollow-spoke rims). The car also received, among other things, an electric sunroof for fresh air supply and air conditioning for hotter days. The silver dials match the color of the interior perfectly. Due to the regular and expertly carried out maintenance, this vehicle with a complete service history deserves the title of “exceptional vehicle”. The service intervals were adhered to throughout and extensive vehicle maintenance was most recently carried out on July 5th, 2023 and is therefore ready for immediate use. In addition to the consistent documentation including the first vehicle registration document, the scope of this collector's item includes the original and complete on-board folder, as well as the complete tool set. Conclusion: The 993 Carrera S is not only one of the particularly sought-after models from the 993 series because it is rare and visually most attractive, but also certainly one of the most exciting vehicles in air-cooled Porsche history. This extraordinary vehicle is a particularly valuable example due to the two previous owners, the low mileage of currently 50,099 km and the particularly sporty equipment with sports seats and sports suspension in combination with the 18″ wheels ex works. In addition, the rare color combination of ocean blue metallic with the leather interior in classic gray is elegant and sporty at the same time. This vehicle is the ideal combination of a collector's item with high potential for appreciation and the perfect companion for the next trip south – preferably over mountain passes, of course.
