The car was ordered as a real lightweight construction. The bucket seats were chosen instead of the comfort sports seats, but other extras such as air conditioning, airbags or electric windows were deliberately omitted.
Before the handover, 4 special options from the TEQUIPMENT RANGE were installed: air inlets with small fog lights in the front bumper, large oval exhaust end pieces, aluminum pedal set, sill cladding in stainless steel with “CARRERA RS” lettering.
Until April 2013 – more than 18 years – the vehicle remained with the first owner until I bought it personally from him on April 2nd, 2013.
The car was serviced by Porsche Switzerland 5/1996 with 3080 km, 1/1998 with 3120 km, 6/1999 with 19,759 km, 2/2001 with 22,710 km, 2/2003 with 29,130 km, 2/2005 with 37,122 km , 11/2009 with 45,237 km, 3/2012 with 45,336 km.
In April 2013 I bought the car with 47,100 km directly from the first owner and imported it to Germany
In the same month I then gave the car to a German collector who had it in his small but fine Porsche collection for more than 7 years, but never registered it. The car was only collected and seen as an investment !!!
With a short-term license plate, the vehicle was moved 2-3 and driven to the Porsche Center in Frankfurt for service. That was in 3/2015 with 47,204 km.
The car is still on Swiss papers of the first owner and was never registered to the German collector. All duties for import into the EU have been paid and documented and approval can be granted at no additional cost.
I have now bought the car back and then had it professionally awakened from its "hibernation" at the Porsche Center in Münster because of the long downtime. For this purpose, a large service as well as a number of additional work was carried out. (Invoice is of course available)
A total of 47,259 km total mileage and complete documentation since the new car was ordered make the car extremely interesting. The following documents and documents are available for the car – new car order, new car invoice, several service invoices, Swiss emissions report with KM certificate, orig. Service book completely stamped, all other logbooks, all keys, key code card, personal letters from the two owners – keeper / driver as well as the collector)
