In nature, crosses of different species are particularly valuable and robust breeds. The model history of the Porsche 993 4S is comparable. Visually a cross between Carrera and Turbo, the 4S is for many the most beautiful of the 993 series. The wide body including the front fenders and side skirts, as well as the chassis and the brakes come from the 993 Turbo – but the massive rear spoiler has been omitted. This results in a timeless combination of sportiness and elegance.
In addition to the already extensive standard equipment such as air conditioning, on-board computer, leather upholstery, electric seat adjustment and rear window wiper, this vehicle has been upgraded with a further list of optional equipment: The Litronic headlights turn night into day, the third brake light not only ensures more safety, it is also sexy completion of the silhouette. The seat heating for the driver and front passenger is a comfortable extra, especially in cold temperatures. The on-board entertainment is provided by the Blaupunkt Toronto radio, which is still originally installed, together with the rare digital sound package and the Bose sound package – all ex works. The Motorola phone is also built in from the factory and, although not quite "state of the art", is a reminder that this vehicle was built over 20 years ago. The electric sunroof provides fresh air and lets the sun into the interior on the country roads. As is well known, light increases the production of happiness hormones, although the latter is already adequately provided for by the acceleration values and the probably best road holding of an air-cooled Porsche 911.
The metallic finish is particularly noticeable, as it not only reflects a pure black, but also, depending on the incidence of light, a different color spectrum from carbon to dark brown. The red painted brake callipers are a perfect splash of color to the classic exterior color.
At the moment, the 993 model is probably the most popular of the air-cooled 911 series, especially in the turbo-wide all-wheel drive version. Mature technology suitable for everyday use, beguiling looks with superior driving performance make the last series, to which the special model Carrera 4S belongs, desirable. After the turbo model, this version is the most exclusive variant to drive a 993.
Conclusion: This Porsche 993 Carrera 4S from German first delivery is in a fascinating overall condition with only 62,900 km, also because of the complete maintenance history. Due to the service currently being carried out in the Porsche Center, the car is immediately ready for use and without a maintenance backlog. In the color black metallic and the same color interior, this vehicle, which is completely in its original condition, is already a very valuable classic that is suitable for everyday use. It is just as much fun for the driver and enthusiast as it is for the cool computer, as this model will continue to develop its potential in this state in particular.

Model history:
The Porsche model 993 is the ultimate developed and everyday version of the classic air-cooled Porsche 911. In handling much more agile than its direct ancestor 964, it was technically up to date and is already a fascinating and very valuable classic today.
Its basic shape remained unchanged, but it dared to make new body accents in the details: For the first time, flattened fenders, as on the technology platform 959, and a raised hood led to the loss of the traditional cannon barrel look, but fans still liked the look with standard DE headlights. As the Carrera 4S, it inherited the wide body of the turbo, as well as the turbo chassis and the turbo brakes and is therefore the most attractive and sought-after "suction model" of the 993 and thus the last air-cooled model series. If required, it has a maximum output of 286 hp and a remarkable torque of 355 Newton meters at 5400 revolutions per minute.
