The technical details of the factory performance increase are impressive: Porsche Motorsport in Weissach offered the so-called sports kit for the 993 model. The engine with the identification M64/05 S received a power increase from 272 hp to 285 hp.
In addition to the factory performance increase implemented with the option code X51, the special equipment and exclusive options ex works include another very sought-after special feature: the original sports seats ex works.
On May 3, 1995, the car was handed over to its first owner as part of a factory delivery in Stuttgart. Since the last change of ownership, the car has been in the hands of a private individual for 18 years and currently has a mileage of 130,500.
The overall impression of the car is impressive and it is in a very good condition throughout. The history and mileage are fully documented by the original vehicle registration document, the service invoices and TÜV certificates since the first delivery. The complete package is made perfect by the complete on-board folder, all keys and the original tool set.
The color combination in Triple Blue means a perfect interplay of the exterior color in midnight blue metallic with the leather in dark blue and the blue hood. The currently installed original 993 Targa rims were not part of the delivery scope. However, they suit the vehicle extremely well. The original Cup II rims are also present.
The list of special equipment is long: engine sound package, automatic cruise control, the sound package including amplifier, as well as air conditioning, on-board computer and the Bose digital sound package are just some of the extras.
The understated super sports car is unashamedly committed to luxury in the interior: the extended full-leather interior in blue includes the partially electric sports seats with seat heating (at an additional cost).
With further extras from the special requests department – the Exclusive Manufactory – this example became a unique piece. These include the special center console, the aluminum dials, and the combination of aluminum and leather used on the gear knob and handbrake handle.
With a complete maintenance history carried out exclusively in Porsche Centers – most recently in May 2023 – this vehicle from Germany with a mileage of 130,500 km is in a highly collectible condition. This example is made for all those for whom a normal convertible is too ordinary and who still want to enjoy the advantages of a sporty and at the same time open car.
The car is unrestricted and ready for immediate use, e.g. for the next trip to the Alps – over the pass roads, of course. Anyone who can call this vehicle their own will be happy to own one of the rarest models of the recent air-cooled era.

Vehicle history:
The first delivery to the first owner took place on May 3rd, 1995 by the Porsche Center Ulm. The vehicle registration document, on-board folder, operating instructions, key card and radio card as well as the maintenance invoice and TÜV documents since delivery in 1995 are available in the original. This means that the history can be documented throughout.
The vehicle received a new, major maintenance at the Porsche Center 5-Seen in Gilching on March 2nd, 2023, including spark plugs, engine oil and brake fluid changes. In addition, the air conditioning, wishbones and steering gear were overhauled or replaced, among other things.
Vehicle condition and assessment (according to our knowledge and the statement of the last vehicle owner and visual inspection):
Body.
The body is in very good condition. The closing behavior and the fit of the doors and hoods is flawless.
Exterior paintwork
The paintwork is a new coat of paint close to the factory level.
Attachments
All of the vehicle's attachments are complete. They are in mostly flawless condition all around.
Glazing
The vehicle's glazing is almost free of stone chips and scratches. All seals on the vehicle are original and fit perfectly.
Interior
Seats and trim
The entire seating system, the side trims and the center console are in very good condition for the most part. There is no damage.
Instruments
The vehicle has the standard instruments, all of which are in technically and visually perfect condition. All instruments are currently working properly.
Engine components
Due to the fully traceable history, we assume that the engine and transmission are the vehicle's original components. The entire engine compartment, including the engine and its attachments, are in mint condition. The cold start behavior and the engine running over the entire temperature range up to the constant operating temperature are flawless.
Additional units
All additional units such as the ignition system, starter, alternator, etc. are currently in perfect technical condition.
Drive
The vehicle's transmission shifts perfectly under all load conditions; there are no suspicious noises. The transmission works perfectly.
Steering
The function and precision of the steering are the same as when delivered.
Chassis and braking system
The brake discs and brake pads are in very good condition. All prescribed maintenance work was carried out regularly on the braking system and chassis.
Wheels and tires
The wear is even across the entire width of the tires, which is an unmistakable indication that the chassis is perfectly adjusted and is working accordingly. The tires and rims are in very good condition and show no signs of damage.
Electrics and lighting
The entire electrical system is almost in the condition it was delivered in. No changes have been made here, but all maintenance and upkeep measures have been carried out so that the entire electrical system is currently functioning properly in all areas.
