On behalf of our customer, we are offering for sale a very nice Porsche 993 Carrera 2 Cabriolet, with the popular Varioram engine (286 hp) and 6-speed manual transmission, in a rare color combination of dark blue/beige, beige top. Our customer's previous owner, also of German nationality, purchased this 993 in the USA in 2009 with 44,445 miles/71,556 km and took it with him when he moved from the USA to Sweden due to a local job change. A Carfax and receipts for import to Sweden are available. There is also a Swedish report from the Dekra there. The data sheet from Porsche and TÜV Nord after acceptance in Germany is also available. The history can be traced based on the files.

The vehicle in detail

The car was only driven there in the summer (garage car) and stored over the winter. In 2012, it was inspected and assessed by us, Urwerk 1:1 GmbH, on behalf of the current owner. It was purchased locally on behalf of the current owner and driven "home" to Urwerk.

This 993 has the USA/CDN country equipment. The car had accident damage in the past which was repaired. The car has a service booklet. It is in a technically and visually well-maintained overall condition. Existing invoices from the Porsche Center and Urwerk document the investments made. The existing service booklet is stamped with the first delivery date of January 12, 1997/Newport Beach, California.

The driver's door was damaged during the move from the USA to Sweden. The Porsche Center Goetheborg, Sweden, replaced the door according to the previous owner.

In addition to the maintenance work, in 2012 the convertible top and tarpaulin were replaced in beige, as were all the associated convertible top seals. In 2013 the 911 received a full inspection in accordance with §21 and was Germanized with the associated conversion measures. The underbody was cleaned and then waxed. In 2015 the keys and the remote control were replaced. A new Alpine radio was installed with new speakers and a new Pioneer subwoofer. The speedometer was converted from 52,554 miles to 84,559 kilometers at the Porsche Center in 2023 and new Michelin Pilot Sport tires were fitted.

Since the car was imported to Germany, the owner has invested a lot in addition to the good base, which can be documented by the receipts.

The beige leather interior is also in good original condition. The beige top and the identically colored tarpaulin are as good as new.

The current owner has only driven the car about 8,000 km since he bought it in 2012. He is parting with his 993 purely for time reasons. The reason for selling is, as is often the case, a lack of time for the hobby.

There were 5 other owners before the current owner. The vehicle now has 84,687 km on the clock and its MOT is valid until 08/25. If desired, the MOT can be renewed after the vehicle is purchased. This 993 Cabriolet is available immediately.

Background to our condition description:
For 18 years we have been carrying out maintenance and repair work on air-cooled vehicles, dismantling them down to the last screw before the bare bodies are stripped of paint and derusted in phosphoric acid. During this dismantling work prior to the immersion bath and cathodic dip painting, and the subsequent component revision and reassembly, we hold every component, no matter how small, in our hands several times. This enables us, as a meticulous restoration company with well-known national and international references, to assess used vehicles for you in detail. Because a 111 point check is limited to 111 points and a TÜV stamp is only of limited use to us.

Why do we mention this?
Because this way you know at the original factory before you make the purchase what you are getting in return for the actual condition. And this is especially true with regard to the comprehensive body and technical inspection on the underside of the car and in its mostly uncommented nooks and crannies.

We document all abnormalities and components using photos. This is the most important thing for every buyer and maintains enjoyment of the car – even after the purchase.

So we don't leave you and your Porsche alone after your purchase, but continue to accompany you and the car we know during maintenance, servicing and service work, which we carry out daily for all our old and new customers alike.

We are happy to explain:
to any interested party the condition of the vehicle on offer here in detail on the lifting platform.

Viewings:
are also possible in the evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment at the original factory with the best lighting.

We reserve the right to make changes, typos and errors. We ask for your understanding that we cannot accept any liability, guarantee or warranty for the completeness and information in the content. The agreements in the subsequent purchase contract are the only decisive factor. The vehicle may be sold prior to written confirmation of sale.

We look forward to your call (+49 172 5632566/+49 5605 949391) or your email.

Yours, Stephan and Maximilian v. Tülff
