The car comes with its original folder and books. The original maintenance booklet is completely sealed in official Porsche Centers and in specialized Porsche workshops. There is a history of maintenance and repairs since 2014. The Porsche Classic Radio was recently installed.
The 993 Targa model broke with Porsche’s traditional Targa roof in favor of a large sliding panoramic roof. Currently this type of ceiling is very common, but we must keep in mind that in the mid-90s it was quite a technical feat. As for the engine, being a version that was offered between 1996 and 1998, it already has the famous 285hp Varioram engine. Another distinctive detail of the version is its 17” wheels with a specific design.
The rarity and exclusivity of this unit lies in its Manual gearbox. The vast majority of 993 Targa came out with the 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, but a few units, like this one, came out with the 6-speed manual gearbox. In total (automatic and manual), 1980 units were manufactured in the 1996 model year. This specific unit is the number 229 build.
Vehicle free of accidents and rust and retaining all factory stickers.
