In 1994, the Stuttgart-based firm announced its latest model, the all-new 911, named 993. As usual, Porsche’s engineers revised everything! After a reign of just 3 years, it was replaced by the 996, which offered a leap into the modern era. A disaster for purists, the air-cooled flat-6 was abandoned, making the 993 the most accomplished traditional 911… Our example was sold new by the Porsche dealer in Strasbourg in October 1995, in this sumptuous Midnight Blue Metallic livery with a grey leather interior. A number of options made the car even more attractive, including the rare wood inserts, heated electric seats, the most efficient hi-fi system and the sunroof.
