In the 1994 model year, the Porsche 964 model series was replaced by the 993 model series. This was a significant advance, not just technically but also visually. For many enthusiasts, the Porsche 993 is one of the most beautiful Porsche 911s ever built. The front wings of the Porsche 993 Carrera have become wider and flatter. Because of the shorter trunk lid, the black rubber lip that forms the seam between the body and the front bumper of the G-model and the 964 has been omitted. The rear fenders were also widened and ran in a straight line to the rear with the higher positioned taillights. The Porsche 993 was overall the fourth generation of the 911. As the last air-cooled 911, the 993 has now become a sought-after classic. Due to careful evolution over more than 30 years, it is considered to be technically fully developed and durable.
