Interior
On the inside, the exuberant Porsche party continues cheerfully. Don’t be fooled by the understated black, because the combination of leather upholstery with Sport-Tex seats, a carbon interior package, heated Race-Tex Alcantara GT Sports steering wheel including carbon inlay and belts + stitching in contrasting chalk, is at least as unique as it is breathtaking. The Sport Chrono clock on top of the dashboard has a black background and the Race-Tex Alcantara center armrest is equipped with the famous Porsche coat of arms, to make it just that little bit more special. Party lighting comes in the form of carbon sill guards including LED logos. The emblem is also projected onto the street thanks to LED door lighting. The Light Design Package / Ambient Lighting captures the great 992 Turbo S atmosphere once you’re on the road.
Options & extras
So there is plenty to see outside and inside the Porsche 911 Cabriolet. But what about the functions and controls? In one word: excellent. And we mean that literally, referring to the 18-way electrically adjustable adaptive sports seats. The brilliantly seated seats can be heated and have a memory function. Once you’ve found your place inside the 911 Turbo S, you’re in complete control. Because it includes a Sport Chrono Pack, Park Assist with Surround View, Apple CarPlay, a HomeLink garage door opener, LED Matrix lighting including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus and rear-axle steering. Although the latter also says something about the extraordinary performance of this topper from Zuffenhausen…
Technique & performance
We’re not exaggerating: straight ahead (0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, top speed 330 km/h) or lightning fast through bends, the 992 Turbo S Cabriolet is unrelenting. In addition to the rear-axle steering, the Porsche Active Suspension Management sports suspension lowered by 10 mm is responsible for this. Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus are the other aids that let the 650 hp (!) strong tycoon chase over the asphalt as if on rails. The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system is no superfluous luxury in that regard. Because you can count on it that you regularly have to put in the anchors to be able to temper the 3.8 liter 6-cylinder boxer engine with twin turbo and 800 Nm of torque. The 8-speed PDK transmission including double clutch also makes a serious contribution to the explosive speed build-up.
Sincerely,
Prince Esclusivo
