Continuing the recipe first tested with the previous 997-generation 911 GTS (2010-2011), Porsche launched the second iteration of its “sweet-spot” GTS variant on the 991-generation 911 platform in 2014. In GTS trim, the 3.8-liter flat-six punched out 30 more horsepower than the Carrera S for a total of 430, propelling the Coupe from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds when paired with the seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. In addition to the bump in power, GTS cars were also equipped with the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, Dynamic Engine Mounts, PASM active suspension, 20-inch center-lock wheels, Porsche Dynamic Light System with bi-xenon headlights, Sport Design mirrors and front facia, and an Alcantara and leather-trimmed interior as standard.
Adding to the already generous standard equipment, this 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe finished in White was optionally specified with 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats with Memory Package, ParkAssist with Reversing Camera, Power Steering Plus, as well as an Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof. The accompanying clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report shows that the GTS was originally offered for sale through Checkered Flag Porsche in Virginia Beach, Virginia, entering the care of its first owner in July 2016. The report also documents consistent maintenance scheduled at Checkered Flag Porsche over the following years, including services at 13,150 miles (April 2019), 17,402 miles (May 2020), 19,706 miles (May 2021), and 23,199 miles (May 2022).
Offered from the original owner, the GTS currently shows 25,699 miles at the time of cataloging and benefits from a new set of Pirelli P Zero. With its additional power, aggressive looks, and a wealth of desirable equipment, this 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe offers tremendous value and performance to its next owner.
