But it becomes clear quite quickly that this is not a ‘normal’ Turbo S. Already from 10m away, the car gives a completely different impression. Angry and low and with a sense of motorsport. Something that is not normally so noticeable in a Turbo S. The exterior is classic Carrera white metallic with a black convertible top. Timeless and elegant. But it’s the details that make the whole here. As part of Techart’s GTSport program, the exterior is finished in matte carbon fiber details. Pretty much everything from the nose cone to the tail pipe, which are normally plastic parts, is here in matte carbon fiber. A wonderful contrast that lifts the whole. Above the engine cover sits a more aggressive intake as part of the engine upgrades from Techart. The car sits aggressively on its five-spoke rims, also signed Techart and with a design touch from Porsche’s own GT cars.
What makes the Turbo S such a special car isn’t necessarily that it’s as fast as it is. It is the combination with the comfort. And there is no shortage of comfort here. Open the driver’s door and you are greeted by a wonderful Espresso colored leather interior. Delicately interwoven with a bright thread and bright elements to tie the exterior with the interior. Here, too, Techart has raised the whole. The steering wheel has been given a thicker rim together with a white lacquered center, something that is also picked up in the paddles and decorative moldings. Sports seats with both heating and ventilation, SportChrono and DAB radio all contribute to making this extremely angry Techart Turbo S one of the world’s leading performance cars.
What was already one of perhaps the absolute best cars if you want a ‘one-car solution’ is here, as I said, refined and refined by Techart. 640hp to all four wheels delivered as only a Porsche can ensure that there is not much that should worry the driver at a red light. But again, it’s the combination of being able to fold the roof down and driving a great convertible with great comfort that makes this Techart Turbo S one of the world’s top performance cars.
