The 991 GT3 mounts the “evergreen” 6 cylinder boxer engine, fuel injection, naturally aspirated, now with 4 liters capacity, reaches a power of 500 hp and 460 Nm of torque; a faster 7 speed PDK gearbox is paired to the limited slip diff with Torque Vectoring Plus system; rear-wheel steering complete the technical specs.
Two technical specs sum up the outstanding qualities of this car: 0-100 kmh in 3,4 sec and top speed of 318 km/h.
Despite the 991.1, over the 25 more hps, the second series mounts new bumpers made of lighter polyurethane, with empty spheres inside and carbon fiber, which is also used for the rear lid. Bi-xenon headlamps with dynamic control and washers are some of the upgrades of the 991.2 GT3. The rear was also upgraded with huger air intakes and four new little nolders increase the effect of the air diffusor. Compared to the 911 Carrera the rear track is 44mm larger and the height is 25mm less.
Many carbon fiber components, options in this example, allow to save more weight and to customize the aesthetic; inside as well the carbon fiber is used for the carbon fiber seats (derived by the 918 Spyder) made of black-grey Alcantara with grey stitching; the Clubsport option includes the 6-point harnesses, rear roll cage, fire extinguisher and Alcantara steering wheel.
