The 991-2 is one of our personal favorites among the Elfers. Somehow the configuration is approaching perfection; the body is so beautifully balanced that we can only appreciate the umpteenth evolution of Porsche’s legend. The Targa version is the pinnacle in that regard: the extensive glass and aluminum bracket provide a stylish, distinctive touch. The original owner saw the same and therefore decided to give his 911 Targa 4S extra tasteful decoration, including Agate Gray metallic body. The 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels with bright red brake calipers behind them, in turn, emphasize the pure sports car DNA of Porsche and make the look unique. Furthermore, the 2 exhaust tailpipes of the sports exhaust system are finished in matt black for a cool contrast. Of course, this 991 also benefits. 2 Targa 4S of all exterior features since the facelift. This means that the Porsche can be recognized by its modified bumper (spoiler)s and modified LED light technology. Very beautiful.
Interior
Open the door and beautiful natural leather in chic Espresso tones provide a welcome warmer than warm. The GT sports steering wheel likes to be held firmly and the Sport Chrono clock on top of the leather dashboard shows once again how precious time is… The background is deliberately kept black; nice and understated. The carbon inlay is also dark in color. Anyone who allows themselves to be carried away by all the racing spirit will undoubtedly come into regular contact with the Porsche emblem in the headrests. Furthermore, the brown natural leather is only interrupted here and there by an aluminum accent. A Porsche 911 cockpit may be packed with high-tech, but it really is overflowing with elegance.

The manufacturer had apparently already taken into account that we would prefer to get into such a beautiful interior as soon as possible, as evidenced by the comfortable Porsche Entry & Drive technology. You sit on 4-way electrically adjustable and heated sports seats Plus. Cruise Control, automatically dimming mirrors, power steering Plus, Bose Surround Sound and Park Assistant front + rear make life inside the Porsche 991.2 Targa 4S very comfortable. To which we ask ourselves aloud: is it ever hard work in a modern sports car like this 911?
Technique & performance
That depends: whoever pushes the 420 hp 6-cylinder boxer engine with twin turbo to the limit, will definitely come home with clammy hands. On the other hand, the four-wheel drive provides so much grip that the limit is rarely reached. The Porsche 991-2 Targa 4S can also accelerate like the best: the 0-100 km/h sprint only needs to take 4.2 seconds. Aided by the phenomenal 7-speed PDK automatic transmission, you’ll never miss a gear, so such a quick sprint is guaranteed as soon as the light turns green. The 3.0 liter Porsche turbo engine also delivers a torque of 500 Nm, which means that the acceleration can also be called explosive at speed. The thrust at your back continues up to a top speed of 301 km/h. Meanwhile, the sports exhaust system continuously invites you to keep the throttle on; especially with the roof off, you can fully enjoy the characteristic boxer sound.
