We can write a book about the iconic design of a Porsche 911. In fact, that has already been done several times. We will therefore stick to the facts of this specific copy for now. Characteristic of the 991.2 Carrera 4S on your screen are the full light bar at the rear, Sport Design exterior mirrors, modified rear bumper (spoiler) including air slots and 2 more centrally positioned exhaust end pieces. The 20 inch RS Spyder rims have also been added to fill the muscular wheel arches in style. The rims have a dark gray tint, so that they form a beautiful whole with the ink-black body. The same can be said about the dark headlight housings that conceal the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus. Tastefully done!
Interior
Inside the Porsche, the black is converted to the maximum in leather. The optional leather package provides an extra beautiful finish of both the steering column and the entire dashboard. The (adaptive!) Sports seats, the GT sports steering wheel, the rear seat, center armrest and door panels are of course also covered with it. In combination with the aluminum parts, the 911 cockpit looks like high-tech. Roof skies and styles are also as black as the night. However, it will not be dark soon on board the 4S. The panorama roof will take care of that. With the screen closed it actually gets even cozier and all attention can go to driving …
Technology & performance
The big difference compared to the non-facelift Porsche 991 is not in the appearance or the decoration. Under the skin, the 991.2 is a completely different car thanks to the engine: for the first time since the brand’s history, Porsche added a double turbo to the 6-cylinder as ‘the new standard’. This means that the blown version is no longer exclusively assigned to the 911 Turbo. Though the latter traditionally still extracts extra power from the boxer engine. As if the 420 horsepower from this copy has been made!
In comparison: there are 20 more than the atmospheric 991 4S had. The torque even increased by 60 Nm to a total of 500. The top speed of 303 km / h and sprint time of 0-100 km / h within 4 seconds is therefore a bit faster than the non-blown 911 driver is used to. The four-wheel drive and steered Carrera 4S is also known to go super stable around the corner. And whoever does that in this Porsche also does it in style.
