The vehicle in detail

The 911 type 991 is no exception: for the current spearhead Porsche as for its predecessors, the multiplication of variants is inevitable. GT3, Turbo, Turbo S… The latest is called GTS, a label already seen on the predecessor 997: on paper, it presents itself as an intermediate version between the Carrera S and the GT3. Without achieving the degree of sportiness of the latter, the GTS remains civil and is ultimately a purist version of the Carrera range…

Exactly like its little sisters Carrera and Carrera S, the GTS is offered as a coupe as well as a convertible, with a manual gearbox or with the PDK double-clutch gearbox, in 2 and 4WD. Good news for those who like to give elbow grease and who found the Carrera S too wise…

In phase 1, the 991 GTS was therefore equipped with the X51 engine kit as standard, developing 430 hp. On phase 2, the power increases to 450 hp.

The 3.0 l flat-6, inherited from the Carrera S, therefore receives the X51 engine kit (revised camshafts, cylinder heads and intake) increasing the power to 450 hp (i.e. 30 hp gained). The Chrono Sport pack is also supplied as standard, as well as some finishing elements (Alcantara steering wheel, contrasting stitching, etc.).

These options are present in the catalog, but it is nevertheless difficult to reduce the GTS to a simple package: in addition to the GT3-inspired front bumper and the 20-inch rims with central nuts, the GTS receives some specific styling effects that are quite attractive: the black rear grille as a retro nod, and especially the widened rear fenders and tracks (+36 mm), usually reserved for Carrera 4 and 4S integrals, present on all GTSs, including rear-wheel drive. Still on the chassis side, the suspensions are slightly firmer and lowered by 10 mm.

The car offered was delivered new in Germany, before arriving in France in 2019. It is third hand. It is in a metallic midnight blue configuration, black Alcantara leather interior with silver stitching, hard configuration to find, it took us many months to find it on behalf of the last owner.

It has never been in an accident and is in perfect presentation and working condition. It has always been maintained in the network, a revision will be made for the sale.
