Our well-maintained and very original example was handed over to its first owner by the Porsche Center Bielefeld in May 1993. The wonderful “amazon metallic” paint color he chose suits the coupé perfectly and, depending on the light, appears to oscillate between deep green and the Porsche color “night blue”.
The Turbo remained in first-hand ownership until 2002, was then sold to France and brought back to Germany in 2013 by a top Audi manager. Since 2019 it has been part of a high-quality collection in Hesse. The history of the car is very well documented, there is an extensive folder with maintenance invoices, HU receipts and correspondence. The original on-board folder including a stamped maintenance booklet and the first vehicle registration document are present, as is the Porsche birth certificate, which confirms the “matching numbers”.
The gap dimensions of the body are perfect and the paintwork is good all around, the front shows the typical stone chips on the hood and bumper. The black full leather interior is almost flawless, all equipment parts are original and only minimally patinated.
The current owner had the Turbo 3.6 extensively technically overhauled in recent years. A complete engine overhaul, including new pistons/cylinders and a new turbocharger, was carried out for over €40,000 using only original new Porsche parts. In addition, another €30,000 was spent on air conditioning, chassis, transmission and other components. All work was carried out in a renowned specialist workshop and is supported by invoices.
The technology of the 911 is free of defects, driving characteristics and engine dynamics are at the level of a new car. A fascinating Porsche Turbo and a highlight of every collection.
The sale takes place on behalf of our customer.
