In April 1993, this 964 RS with 3,116 km was sold via Porsche Bremen to a German private individual in Gelsenkirchen.
Thomas Schmitz from Hermanns & Schmitz GmbH bought the car a few years later in spring 2001 and sold it to England in summer 2001.
The new owner imported the car to England and registered it there in autumn 2001. The car remained in his possession for 10 years until 2011 before he sold it to another gentleman in England. The car was with the second owner in England until it was bought back by Thomas Schmitz in 2016 and brought back to Germany.
In 2016, Thomas Schmitz from TJS Germany Sports Cars sold this RS to a regular customer, who integrated the car into his sports car collection.
Now the vehicle with just over 73,000 km is for sale again at TJS German Sports Cars GmbH.
As shown in the photos, the car was manufactured and delivered as a special order in the special color L998 “FERRARI YELLOW”. The RECARO bucket seats are covered in leather – black with three-tone gray cushions and the back shell is painted in the body color “Ferrari Yellow”. Straps, pull loops and the embroidered CARRERA RS lettering are also in yellow. The running boards of the door sills are made of stainless steel with “Carrera RS” lettering, and the strut bar has TECHART lettering. The 3.6 L RS engine type M64/03 and the RS transmission type G5010 are of course “MATCHNING NUMBERS” to the vehicle. The car has a CARTRONIC TYPE performance upgrade which was developed in collaboration with Walter Röhrl and is also installed in Walter Röhrl's private 964 RS. The kit consists of a chip for the original Montronic, an “air flow meter” or hot film component, which was later adopted into the series for the 993, as well as a stainless steel catalytic converter and a cup pipe. (all original parts are available). This kit increases engine performance from 260 hp to 300 hp through optimizations without actually intervening in the engine or making major modifications. (2 test bench runs show 299 and 297 HP). The kit can be easily restored to its original condition without any major work. The wheels are original 17 inch magnesium rims in 7.5 and 9 inch widths made by SM for Porsche.
The vehicle is in GREAT CONDITION and has now run just over 73,000 km.

Before handing it over to the future buyer/owner, the car will have 4 new tires because the tires installed are outdated and the car was ultimately driven little.
