"Amethyst Metallic" is the name given to the rarely encountered paint color of this convertible: According to the seller, the body of the 964 has the first paint – "Smart Repair" was only applied to the mirrors and bumpers. Given that this 964 is still in its first coat of paint, the body of the Porsche is in very good condition with no serious defects. Except for a few small damages in the fabric at the folding points of the soft top, the fabric hood of the 911 can be attested to be in good condition. There are no visible cracks on the plastic rear window of the soft top. Modifications to the exterior that deviate from the original condition are not to be noted.
The original 18-inch Porsche Speedline alloy wheels are fitted with Dunlop brand tires measuring 225/40 on the front axle and 265/35 on the rear axle. The seller mentions that the edge of the rims on the aluminum rims would have to be reworked. The tires on the Porsche are in good condition, but they date from 2014. According to the current owner, the perforated brake discs are in over 50% their new condition. In terms of chassis technology, no deficits are recognizable.
In the interior of the Porsche, which is kept in the same color as the exterior, the bolster of the driver's seat is a bit scuffed – here and there there are also a few signs of wear such as scratches or minor wear and tear in the interior, but there are no missing parts or defects. The equipment of this 964 convertible includes: power steering, four-spoke airbag steering wheel, central locking, electric windows, air conditioning, ABS, seat heating on both sides, electrically adjustable seats and a Radio Becker Mexico cassette radio. There is also a trip master for classic car events on board the convertible. All equipment functions do their job without any problems – defects cannot be listed.
The speedometer reads 152,250 kilometres: According to the seller, this mileage can be traced through a partially kept Porsche checkbook. All instruments in the cockpit work perfectly.
This 964 is powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that delivers 250 hp to the rear wheels – it is shifted via a 5-speed manual gearbox. In March 2021, at the mileage of 151,000, a last maintenance with inspection took place in the Bad Homburg Porsche Center. The seller notes that 18,000 Swiss francs were invested in the Zurich Porsche Center after a long period of standing with a mileage of 116,000 and that €5,000 was invested in the Porsche at the end of 2020 in the Netherlands. Current defects in the drive train cannot be listed.
The underbody of this Porsche 964 Cabriolet is in very good condition: there are no rust spots or improperly carried out repair work to be seen here.
