Dry ice blasting
Repair painting for paint damage
Lights/Headlights
air conditioner and heater
fittings
Gearbox/drive rework
Fuel system
Oil system
Engine revision package I
Engine revision package II
landing gear
Braking system
All of our 964s are restored according to defined standards .
It begins with checking the initial status of each vehicle. This test includes the following work steps:
Thorough cleaning of the exterior and interior
Visual inspection of the paint
Visual inspection of the body
Visual inspection of the interior
Functional testing of all components such as air conditioning/heating, lighting control devices, etc.
Test drive
Visual inspection of chassis/brakes/engine
The second step is dry ice blasting. This includes:
Dismantling all underbody panels
Dismantling the front mask, the rear panel and the sill panels
Dismantling all lighting elements
Disassemble, clean and store all dismantled panels
Drain engine, transmission oil, washer fluid and brake fluid

Underbody, front, rear and engine compartment dry ice blasting
After dry ice blasting, the scope of the restoration is determined:
Visual inspection of the underbody again for corrosion and damage
Determination of the scope of the body work
Testing the chassis components
Checking all lines (brake, fuel, oil, etc.)
Removal of the oil tank, the oil cooler and all oil lines (lines are generally replaced)
Chassis and brake components are generally overhauled or replaced
Now the preparation for the painting work begins:
Dismantling the necessary parts for repair painting
Now the individual assemblies are brought to the respective trades:
Body to body shop/painter
Interior for upholstery (seats and panels to be refurbished)
Fittings for overhaul
Depending on the defect, overhaul electronic components
Engine and gearbox completely in the factory for overhaul 1
While the body and interior are being worked on, the engine and transmission are being overhauled. The revision generally includes:

Transmission:
After visually checking for leaks, disassemble
Check wearing parts and replace if necessary
On all-wheel drive vehicles, check the front differential and drive train for leaks and function, replace worn parts or overhaul components if necessary
After completion of the individual trades, assembly follows in plant 1 or plant 2 depending on capacity in the following work steps:
Install the chassis/brake (either overhauled or new components)
Install the oil cooling system (all new lines/hoses)
Complete the body with new seals and piping (doors, hoods, trim strips, etc.)
Install lighting. Check function

Manufaktur 964 GmbH is a passion-driven company dedicated to the restoration and maintenance of the Porsche 964.
Our focus is not on selling automobiles, but this is due to the large number of customers we have been able to make happy over the years. Of course we stand by our product and our work. We are happy to help our customers market the vehicles we have created if this is desired.
We have either completely restored all of the vehicles we offer as a “full project”, repaired them in a “rolling restoration” according to our standards, or looked after them over many years.
Everything we offer must meet our quality standards!
This is sometimes a bit excessive, but for us the quality of our work is the focus of our work.
