After having been driven for 225.000 km by her previous 3 owners and remaining completely original, in order to return the vehicle to an absolutely perfect condition, from March 2022 to June 2023 a renowned specialist has carried out a careful, complete and well documented restoration, with wisely improved mechanical elements to enjoy her to the fullest. Many restorers even would have fixed 0 km in the odometer. The car has only been driven 2.600 km from the restoration.

All the interior, windscreen, glasses and mechanical parts have been disassembled and the paint has been sanded to repaint the car on a firm base.

All the body seals and rubbers, exterior lights, insulation panels and carpets have been replaced by new ones.

The whole leather interior was in a stunning condition, so just a cleaning and moisturizing treatment has been done.

Front and rear subframes have been completely disassembled, sand blasted and fresh 85% shore rubbers, trailing arms bushings, suspension mounts, a strut brace, Bilstein B6 shocks and OEM RS springs and RS sway bars have been installed, as well as new hub bushings, brake discs, pads and brake lines, with new hardware everywhere. A rebuilt steering system has also been fitted.

The engine has been completely overhauled. New RS sport clutch, light weight flywheel, mass air flow meter performance kit, short shift system, 85% shore engine and transmission mounts, new electrical components and new fuel and oil lines have been fitted.

Not the kind of car a collector looks for (high mileage, no service book, repainted…), but undoubtedly one of the best for a real enthusiast, and of overwhelming beauty.

Original steering wheel and Blaupunkt Symphony radio come with the car.
