The 964 Porsche is one of the most interesting 911 generations ever. Because it bridges the gap between the antiquated torsion bar suspension era, the rough, rough and loud 911, and the Porsche with spring struts and ABS brakes and airbags – but still with the legendary air-cooled six-cylinder boxer with the iconic sound. It is probably precisely this combination of comfort, safety and classicism that makes the 964 model series so popular.
Particularly sought-after are of course the vehicles with a crystal-clear history, a neatly kept Porsche inspection booklet, of course in unmodified original condition and ideally still in their original paint after more than 30 years. If it's a cool color combination, it gets particularly interesting.
Here you go. This Porsche 911 C2 Cabriolet meets all of the above criteria. The convertible, which was delivered on June 20, 1991 in Holzgerlingen, was sold to a Stuttgart owner after barely four months due to the emigration of its owner, who has owned it to this day, for 33 years.
During this time the Porsche was used purely as a summer vehicle and therefore only covered 105,000 km in 33 years. Apart from one service, all inspection and maintenance stamps are from Porsche centers in the Stuttgart area.
The Porsche painted in amethyst pearl effect with the perfectly matching interior in magenta is a rare sight in this combination. Even rarer is that such a car still has its original paintwork after 33 years and has never been repainted. 100% original paint, checked by an expert.
Conclusion: German car from the start, low km, almost 1st hand, 100% original paint, accident-free, Porsche service history, rare color and color combination, original condition without modification.
Almost too good to be true. Is there a catch? There is: In its 33 years, the Porsche has scratches and scrapes all over it, a dent on the edge of the passenger door and on the bumpers. It is 100% original. You can paint it every day, but once it has been painted, the original paint is gone forever. That's why we are selling it with the honest traces of the decades and hope that its next owner will leave it that way.
