This 964 C2 RS tribute has been in the hands of the current owner for four years. This after a period of also just over four years, where it was owned by another well known 911 personality. We have known the car for quiet some years by now and it’s been in the very best hands of ProMotor.
A Sachs clutch and RS flywheel are fitted, the undercarriage is optimized with Bilstein shock absorbers and serious / but still comfortable springs. The rear window has been replaced with the correct lightweight polycarbonate. The car has undergone an interior ”re-trim” in RS style, where rear seats have been removed, Recaro cup seats, light alcantara door panels with continuous cross stitching, upper and lower dashboards in alcantara, roof lining in alcantara and full-size cage on original dimensions and setup, painted in the exterior color; the historic Etna Blue.
The BBS rims are the correct Le Mans in sublime condition – tires ditto.
The most recent routine maintenance was carried out in July 2021 on 229,785 kilometers, where the technicians performed a full service, replacement of engine oil, filter and spark plugs – also a complete review of the car took place.
In other words, here you have a daily driver, track day ready and an alpine-hungry tribute to the 964 generation Carrera RS. Presented with some model-specific upgrades and a freshly trimmed and completed interior. It is equipped with the usual, yet upgraded, 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six, combined with a five-speed manual gearbox and revised and optimized Carrera Cup exhaust system. The odometer currently indicates 229,790 kilometers and it seems as if the car has just run into its youth.
