The following options have been added or changes made as part of the "rolling restoration":

Engine: Factory engine revision package II with cup pipe
As part of the "rolling restoration", the following components were completely revised:

All our 964s are restored according to defined standards .
It starts with checking the incoming status of each vehicle. This test includes the following work steps:
Thorough cleaning outside and the interior
Visual inspection of the paint
Visual inspection of the body
Visual inspection of the interior
Functional test of all components such as air conditioning/heating, lighting control units, etc.

Visual inspection of chassis / brakes / engine
The second step is dry ice blasting. This includes:
Removal of all underbody panels
Disassembly of the front mask, the rear panel and the sill panels
Dismantling of all lighting elements
Dismantle, clean and store all dismantled panels
Drain engine, transmission oil, washing water and brake fluid
Remove engine and transmission
Shipment for dry ice blasting
Underbody, front, rear and engine compartment dry ice blasting
After dry ice blasting, the scope of the restoration is determined:
Another visual inspection of the underbody for corrosion and damage
Determination of the scope of the body work
Testing of the chassis components
Checking of all lines (brake, fuel, oil, etc.)
Removal of the oil tank, the oil cooler and all oil lines (lines are generally renewed)
Suspension and brake components are generally overhauled or renewed
Now the preparation of the painting work begins:
Disassembly of the necessary parts for repair painting
Now the individual assemblies are brought to the respective trades:
Body to the body shop / painter
Interior for upholstery (seats and panels for refurbishment)
Fittings for overhaul
Depending on the defect, overhaul electronic components
Engine and transmission complete in the factory for revision 1
While the body and interior are in progress, the engine and transmission are being overhauled. The revision generally includes:
Engine:
Manufactory 964 revision package I
Pressure loss and visual inspection
Dismantle the engine down to the camshaft housings, clean all parts
Wear parts such as clutches etc. are generally renewed
Renew ancillary units such as starters and generators
Overhaul ignition distributor, replace if necessary
Check attachments for function and replace if necessary
Paint stripping, blasting and powder coating of engine tinplate (damaged parts will be replaced and processed as well)
Re-galvanize all galvanized parts (like original)
Check blasting of exhaust system and replace if necessary
Assemble engine, complete for installation
Manufactory 964 revision package II
Completely disassemble the engine and clean all parts
Check crankcase, measure, edit if necessary, replace cylinder studs if necessary
Check crankshaft, measure, polish, replace if necessary
Check connecting rods, measure, angle, replace bearings
Check and measure valve train, intermediate shaft, timing chains, etc., replace worn parts
camshafts; Check rocker arm, rocker arm axles, etc., measure, replace if necessary
Cylinder heads generally completely overhaul
Check pistons and cylinders, measure, usually replace
Camshaft housing, chain housing, etc. check, measure, process/replace if necessary
Assemble the crankcase (generally all bearings, seals, etc. are renewed)
Wear parts such as clutches etc. are generally renewed
Renew ancillary units such as starters and generators

Check wear parts and replace if necessary
On all-wheel drive vehicles, check the front differential and drive train for leaks and function, replace worn parts or overhaul components if necessary
After completion of the individual trades, assembly follows in Plant 1 or Plant 2, depending on capacity, in the following work steps:
Install Suspension / Brakes (Either remanufactured or new components)
Assemble the oil cooling system (all lines/hoses new)
Complete the body with new seals and piping (doors, hoods, trim strips, etc.)
Mount lighting Check function
Install a new set of carpets and, if necessary, a new headliner
insert discs
Install interior
Install engine and gearbox, start-up
Mount wheels (rims stripped of paint, powder-coated, new tires)
Measure vehicle (set height, wheel load, track, camber, etc.)
Test drive / checking all functions / quality check
Demonstration for acceptance of the main inspection, if necessary, entry of individualizations
