For the first few years, the 944 S2 was owned by Porsche AG. The factory car was ordered with full equipment. These include the electric lifting roof, air conditioning, a Blaupunkt sound system with equalizer, a Bosch car phone and the original “M 030” coilover suspension. The car is also one of a few 944 Coupés equipped with driver and front passenger airbags. After Porsche AG, there were two other owners (plus one family transfer) before the car was acquired by its current owner in 2018.
Since then, the 944 S2 has been visually and technically restored to a state that is fun to look at. In detail, the 944 S2 was carefully partially restored between 2018 and 2019 (perfectly documented in the PORSCHE KLASSIK) and completely repainted in the original color cobalt blue metallic in order to remove the usual small stone chip scratches from around 150,000 kilometers of motorway life.

Since the journalist is, as I said, a perfectionist, the front seats were reupholstered with the original fabric (multicolor in classic gray) and the steering wheel and gear knob were dressed in new leather by a professional upholsterer in Germany. The owner had the car serviced at the Porsche Center and by us. All typical wear parts such as the exhaust system, the timing belt including water pump and the body seals were replaced. The air conditioning was also extensively renovated. The car also received the new Blaupunkt radio Bremen SQR 46 DAB (looks like the original radio, compatible with the original equalizer) including a telephone. The original radio and the Bosch telephone are present.
