Model history

The Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982 as the direct successor to the successful Porsche 924. This step was taken against the backdrop of some criticisms of the 924, particularly regarding its four-cylinder engine and transaxle design, which were criticized by some purists. To counteract these concerns and at the same time build on the success of the 924, Porsche decided to develop a new four-cylinder engine based on the proven V8 engine of the Porsche 928. This innovation led to a significant increase in performance and a noticeable improvement in smoothness compared to the previous model.

Now such a Porsche 944 S is offered here as a conversion to a pickup truck. This vehicle is unique!
