The Porsche 914, a compact sports car, was developed by Porsche and Volkswagen in the late 1960s and produced between 1969 and 1976. With its distinctive targa-top design, the model enjoyed great popularity, especially in the USA under the Porsche brand. Various four-cylinder boxer engines, including the powerful Porsche 914/6 with a six-cylinder engine, were offered.
