This example really reminds you of how beautiful the early 911s are. Everything is small and petite and just what you need to make a formidable sports car. Of course, the reception is the same today, but where the new 992 wears 305 rear tires, the 912 gets by with only 165. The exterior, as mentioned, is plain and ivory, with chrome detailing on the window surrounds and bumpers. Open the door and you can immediately tell it’s a 911. There are few differences, the most noticeable being the instrument cluster. In 911s you have five gauges, in this 912 you only have three. Just what you need, and no more.
After just four years, the 912 was replaced by the 914 and only 30,000 cars were produced before the new Targa replaced the mini-911. We are proud to offer a piece of Porsche history with this amazing little 912. A well preserved original that was sold new in the USA and left untouched for many years. A beautiful example of a turnkey sports car that lives our mantra of “Drivers Passion” more than anything else.
