This rare 1989 911/930 Turbo Cabriolet with G50 transmission (the only year the G50 gearbox was available for the Turbo) was manufactured in February of 1989 and first purchased by a Japanese collector who took delivery at the factory in Germany. It was then sent directly to RUF Automobile in Pfaffenhausen, Germany where it was given further unique equipment including 930S vents and boxed rockers, RUF 17” lightweight magnesium alloy wheels with RUF center caps, Ruf front air dam with front oil cooler and Carbon fiber dash, facia and console trim inserts. After these upgrades, the Turbo was sent to Japan and used sparingly. During this ownership, a stainless steel dual exhaust sport muffler with dual 4” oval outlets was fitted. The A/C condenser was upgraded, the system upgrade being far more effective with regard to its cooling capabilities versus the factory original unit. While in Japan, the cabriolet was well serviced and documented as shown in the history file.
This Turbo was then imported to the US in 2018 where it has enjoyed celebrity ownership and has been well-cared for since. A full major service was performed during this ownership. This Turbo is excellent in every way, it has never sustained any accident damage, rust repair or track use. It is complete with its original books and leather pouch, tool roll, service records, spare tire and jack. Always serviced and cared for properly, this rare 911/930 Turbo Cabriolet is excellent in every way and ready for immediate use. It has no disappointments what so ever.
