Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3
Highlights
- Very original
- Rare "Sonderwunsch"
- Rare double VIN number, misprint "ab Werk"
Go back in your thoughts to the eighties of the last century, The era of Miami Vice.
Picture yourself owning the topmodel of the Porsche range, back than and still: the 911 Turbo.
Even though this was a rare sight to see one in real, and even though the Turbo’s were packed with options, the first owner of this car chose to order his car fully to his own wishes through the Porsche Sonderwunsch Abteilung.
Not only having an interior to measure, in this particular white full leather with high white carpets, but also adding LE/SE Turbo rear fenders with air intakes and side skirts, make this a rare car.
The quality of the car goes without saying. Fully inspected by a Porsche-expert, no irregularities were found.
Well, except for one….
What makes this car even rarer, is it has two VIN-numbers “Ab Werk”, in the collectors world a so called “misprint”
Most probably the car had already earlier been designated a number by the Special-abeteilung, the number it carries now. It should have gone out of the production line unstamped, to be built-off by Special-werke, but by mistake it was stamped the sequel number of that day.
Porsche crossed the wrongly stamped the number and applied the right number above it.
The car is very original and untouched. Besides that, the car has been continuously maintained.
Looking forward to your reaction!
