It was Porsche's top model, which was initially only available as a coupé, and from 1987 also in the Targa and Cabriolet body versions.
The Turbo was first sold in the USA and Canada in 1976 and was very popular when it was launched there. In 1976 alone, 520 examples of the Porsche 911 Turbo were exported to the USA.
The Porsche 930 Turbo shown here was ordered on August 29, 1975 by Ronald Resch from Los Angeles from the Porsche dealer "Steve Taub Porsche Audi Inc." in Santa Monica, California, according to the original "Purchase Order" we have.
The first owner chose the color Grand Prix White R4 with "Cinnamon Leather 86" interior. The car was also chosen with the following special equipment:
- C03 Country equipment California
- M220 Lock
- M409 Recaro sports seats left and right
- M497 1.5 HP Starter
- M650 Electric sunroof
The car was completed in early 1976 and finally invoiced and delivered to its first owner on February 6, 1976. The original new car invoice is included in the delivery, as is the original on-board folder with the "Owner's Manual 76 Warranty & Maintenance". The Porsche 930 Turbo is fantastically documented from its delivery to the present day.
The vehicle is in a sensational original condition and is certainly one of the best preserved Porsche 930 Turbos ever.
The vehicle has just received a fresh service from us and is "ready to go".
