The sheet metal is in very good condition, the paint is mostly still the first paint and the interior is in very good original condition except for the carpet set, which was faithfully renewed about 20 years ago. According to the present birth certificate, the engine and gearbox are matching numbers. The Porsche comes from a second owner and has a well-comprehensible history.
It was first delivered on March 13, 1972 to USA, Ohio. The first owner ordered the Targa with extensive equipment. In addition to the S instruments and a leather steering wheel, the car also has stabilizers on the front and rear axles, alloy wheels, colored glass and radio preparation with an antenna on the left. The first owner drove the Targa for almost 20 years and sold it to the second owner in Virginia in 1991 with approx. 58,000 miles.
He kept the car until it was sold to a dealer in 2021. The current odometer reading can be traced using a logbook and the service documents that have been available since 1991 as well as the original service booklet. The vehicle comes with the original on-board folder with operating instructions, service booklet and radio instructions. Furthermore, all invoices from 1991 and a CoA (birth certificate from Porsche) are available. The Porsche comes with the original tool bag and jack.
