In 1971 and 1972, almost 10,000 Porsche 911 T, E and S of the 2.4 liter E model were produced as what were later called "oil flap models". In these vehicles, the oil filler neck was located under a flap on the outside of the right B-pillar instead of in the engine compartment. With the 1973 model year, the oil flap disappeared again – allegedly because both owners and gas station attendants unknowingly filled the supposed fuel tank with petrol, which is said to have resulted in engine damage. This vehicle was completely rebuilt to the highest standard and with the highest level of expertise and completed by the restoration veteran Stimming in Bad Segeberg. The heart of this exceptional 911 is the engine, which comes from the 2.7 RS and produces 210 hp. A Manfred Rugen drive train is beyond reproach and is stable in all life and performance situations. An adapted chassis and braking system make this “oil flap” an absolutely unique piece that will hardly be found a second time.
